Decisiv Announces Integration with TMT Fleet Maintenance
TMW Systems partners with Decisiv to streamline service management integration of the Decisiv Service Management Platform and TMT Fleet Maintenance software enables exchange of vehicle, maintenance and repair data
Glen Allen, Virginia – August 24, 2010 – Decisiv, Inc., the provider of an advanced technology that connects fleet managers with internal and external service locations, today announced the Decisiv Service Management Platform has been integrated with TMT Fleet Maintenance – SQL, a fleet equipment and shop management software product from TMW Systems. The integration employs Decisiv’s cloud-based computing technology to bridge the communications and information gap between fleet maintenance managers and service providers.
“The new integration between the Decisiv Service Management Platform and TMT Fleet Maintenance software vastly improves point of service access to crucial fleet data,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. “The result for fleets is more timely repairs, faster vehicle turnaround time and a more accurate view into the service process. Using cloud computing technology, we are now able to bring together the managed communication capabilities of the Decisiv web-based portal and the TMT software’s power to analyze, evaluate, negotiate and manage fleet and equipment assets and expenses.”
Decisiv’s integration with TMT Fleet Maintenance – SQL delivers data on assets, contacts, pending work, preventive maintenance, warranty coverage and other information to the point of service during external service events. Additionally, the integration will return an electronic folder containing estimates, repairs orders, inspections, service campaigns, labor and parts information and other documents such as pictures of damaged parts from the Decisiv eFolder to the TMT Fleet Maintenance system.
“The Decisiv Service Management Platform’s integration with our maintenance management software provides the accuracy and speed our fleet customers need to collaborate effectively and efficiently with repair and service vendors,” said Scott Vanselous, SVP and general manager of TMW Asset Maintenance. “The costs associated with operating shops and the challenges of staffing facilities with qualified technicians are leading more fleets to outsource a growing amount of service work. By providing real time accessibility to essential data on assets and repair histories, Decisiv is raising our capabilities to an even higher level.”
Decisiv is delivering its integrated solution for TMT Fleet Maintenance in phases. The first phase, just completed, includes the loading of asset lists and fleet management contacts into the Decisiv platform and the ability for service locations to view asset specific mileage, pending work, and Preventive Maintenance schedules at the point of service. Pilot testing by carefully selected fleets has also begun. In the next phases, electronic folder contents from the Decisiv platform will be available in the TMT Fleet Maintenance software.
