Decisiv Positions for Expansion

As broad based adoption of the Decisiv Service Management Platform expands, Decisiv is accelerating organizational growth and extending its cloud-based technology in new markets

Glen Allen, Virginia – June 14, 2012 – Decisiv, Inc., the provider of a highly scalable data and communications platform that is utilized to manage the service and maintenance of complex commercial assets, today announced it is strengthening its organization to prepare for the next evolution of the Decisiv Service Management Platform and to handle ongoing growth and expansion. Changes to the organizational structure at Decisiv are enabling the company to accelerate the development of new capabilities in its cloud-based solution and target new commercial asset markets.

A new senior Platform Strategy Group now in place at Decisiv includes Dean Dodrill, chief strategy officer, Pete Russo, vice president of product management and professional services and Satish Joshi, chief technology officer. The group will focus on advanced cloud-based and mobile technologies to enable Decisiv to extend its position as the premiere cloud-based commercial asset service management platform provider.

In addition to his role in the Platform Strategy Group, as vice president of product management and professional services Russo will drive product requirements for new market segments and customer enhancements in existing segments. Russo’s team, which is expanding to include product managers and professional services team members, will manage product launch plans to bring the new features to market.

Derek Messulam, senior vice president, now leads Decisiv’s North American Truck Distribution and Support business encompassing all sales and support functions using field and centralized support resources. Messulam’s team provides implementation and training as well as other services. To meet the need of its growing customer base in the North American truck market, Decisiv has added four senior sales and support staff members in the past six months and is planning to add four more by the end of this year.

The Decisiv platform is designed to connect managers with internal and external service locations. The web-based portal reduces downtime for preventive maintenance and repairs by facilitating communication and simplifying data management within its advanced cloud-based architecture. In the North American truck market, the number of assets under management has grown to 225,000 from 250 fleets and is up 50 percent over 2011 year end. Service locations using the cloud-based technology now exceed 800 facilities.

“With the changes in our organizational structure,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv, “we are prepared to extend the use of our technology across the Americas and globally, and by expansion into other markets– such as construction equipment and stationary generators– where commercial assets are utilized and maintained. At the same time, we’re focused on our existing customers, working to ensure that we continue to develop valuable information management and communications functionality in the Decisiv Service Management platform based on their needs.”
